It’s our desire to build a close relationship with Ozark Acres Residents, as it is to introduce this community to others who may be looking to relocate and want a peaceful environment for themselves and/or their children. Ozark Acres is a desirable place for those who are retired or planning their retirement or for those who are looking to start a family in a close-knit community. Ozark Acres has a wonderful clubhouse with many activities throughout the year, as well as group activities monthly.
Enjoy our two lakes for your outdoor activities including boating, fishing, and swimming. We are located 5 miles from Hardy, Arkansas where you can shop and bank - in addition to many businesses in the surrounding communities, like Cherokee Village, Highland, and Ash Flat.
Ozark Acres is surrounded on all sides by thousands of acres of virgin timberland in which wildlife of many kinds can be observed purely for enjoyment or hunting. The most prevalent types of wildlife for hunting are deer, squirrel, rabbit, quail, and dove. Many happy nights may be spent hunting coon, opossum, mink, beaver, and fox. Whether hunting by day or night, you will find some of the best hunting imaginable in this area. For our fishing friends there are several rivers, creeks, and lakes within less than an hours drive from Ozark Acres. Some of the rivers would include; White, South Fork, Strawberry, Current, Warm Fork, Black, and Eleven Point. Martin’s Creek and Jane's Creek are two excellent fishing creeks nearby. We are only 55 miles from famous Lake Norfolk and Bull Shoals Lake, two of the largest and best known fishing lakes in the United States.
The Clubhouse and Beach at Lake Vagabond were completed in 1961 and 1962 respectively. The lake is stocked every year with Bass and Catfish for those who love to fish. Lake Vagabond offers 85 acres of inviting clear spring water for fishing and water sports. There are 40 miles of roads that wind their way over more than 2000 acres of outdoor scenery in this peaceful Ozarks community that is a popular vacation spot, a place to retire, and a desirable community to raise a family.
