THE LAKES Arkansas is a state with an abundance of water resources. Northern Arkansas, in particular is blessed with a wealth of incredibly gorgeous rivers, streams, and lakes. Cherokee Village alone has SEVEN lakes ranging in size from 19 acres (surface area) Lake Aztec to 264 acres Lake Thunderbird. Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas has several lakes including their largest, Crown Lake measuring at 600 acres. Our area is also blessed with the Natural Spring River that runs through Hardy (Antique Capital of Northeast Arkansas). Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri has The Largest Private Lake in the USA, as well as 3 Interior Lakes. Autumn Lake, Good Oak Lake, & Treeline Lake.
